Nottingham's rowing clubs join forces to stage another two-day event

Following the great success of the winter two days of racing on the River Trent over 5,700m for Master/Veteran and Club crews the local Town Clubs, Nottingham and Union and Nottingham Rowing Club are again working together to put on races at the National Watersports Centre  in preparation for the 2015 season.

On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of May two regattas will take place.The Saturday event is the traditional six lane Nottingham City Regatta rowed over the full 2,000m and ideal preparation for crews in training for Henley or the National Schools Regatta, which also takes place on the same course.

The Sunday regatta is to be rowed over 1,000m and is designed for Club rowers who are new to six lane racing and Masters/Veteran crews preparing for the National Masters Championships,again to be rowed at Holme Pierrepont.
