Veteran rowers from Nottingham Rowing Club competing at Warwick Regatta on the River Avon, under the walls of the castle, won the 100th trophy of the 2011 regatta season.

The Masters F (over 60) coxed four of Paul Johns, Steve Cuthbert, Nigel Hollingworth and Dave Wregg coxed by Ieva Zeltina beat Stratford-on-Avon Rowing Club in the final.

This is the fifth time that Nottingham Rowing Club, an amalgamation of Nottingham Boat Club and Nottingham Britannia Rowing Club, have exceeded 100 trophies in a regatta season since its foundation in 2006. When winter long distance Head wins are added in it makes over 750 wins in five years. The club one of the most successful sporting clubs in the country.
