Katie Bartlett selected for GB U23 rowing team: 7th international selection in 7 years

Versatile Nottingham Rowing Club sculler/sweep rower Katie Bartlett has been selected to row in the Women's eight at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships, to be held in Varese, Italy on 23rd-27th July. This follows her selection to scull in the European Universities' Championship in Rotterdam in July 31st-August 1st.

Katie is a member of British Rowing's 'Start' talent identification programme, which aims to to build the future of the GB Rowing Team by identifying and developing potential Olympians. She is coached by Julie Edwards at the National Watersports Centre at Holme Pierrepont, and has also been coached by Martin Kay through a period of injury during the winter.

This is the seventh time in seven years that Katie has gained international selection and she joins seven other members of Nottingham Rowing Club who have put on GB kit this summer. Katie is sponsored by Nest Lettings, The UPC Group, I2 Property Rentals and Insideland.
