Severe weather conditions at the National Water Sports Centre resulted in the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta being cancelled after the early time trials over 1,500 m. Nevertheless Nottingham Rowing Club were awarded some medals: Rowan Law from West Bridgford School won the J15 single sculls gold, Faisan Shah from Farnborough School won bronze in the J14 singles. Claire Parnell coaches the boys. Then Faisan with Harvey Kay (Rushcliffe School) and Peter Savage (Djanogly Academy) plus a Burton colleague won bronze in the coxed Quadruple sculls, they were coxed by Charlotte Brown and coached by Martin Kay.
